Meet the Doctors

Dr. James Stirrett

Dr. Stirrett is a naturopathic doctor practicing in Snoqualmie, Washington. He is a graduate of Washington State University, where he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He earned his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and went on to complete a CNME accredited residency in family medicine with an emphasis on hormone management in 2016. Dr. Stirrett is currently seeing patients in person and virtually from his clinic, Bluewater Medical. 

Dr. Stirrett is passionate about helping his clients find optimal health using both conventional and traditional evidence based therapies.  He believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself, and that the best medicine is a healthy lifestyle.  Dr. Stirrett’s extensive training in hormone optimization enables him to effectively and naturally treat both men and women with hormonal imbalances.  He is an expert in the field of bio-identical hormone therapy and weight loss.  His philosophy of medicine includes getting the root cause of hormonal issues and underlying metabolic dysfunction rather than simply masking symptoms.

In his free time Dr. Stirrett enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids.  He is also passionate about cold water surfing, boating, hunting, and traveling with his family.
